We are looking for a Junior Propulsion Systems Design Engineer. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-paced team in the space industry, developing world-leading in-space propulsion technology for small satellites. In this role, you will be working on the full design and development cycle of in-space propulsion systems for our growing portfolio of customers. This includes both recurring production and custom developments. Based on current units in space and in development/production, we are fast on track to become the number one supplier of green-chemical propulsion systems globally. What You'll Do Identify, define, and manage requirements for propulsion systems. Collaborate in the development of green propulsion systems, from early design phases through delivery. Collaborate with subsystem specialists. Support project management activities, including planning, scheduling, and budgeting. Contribute to the continuous improvement of design and production processes. What We're Looking For Education: A degree+ in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Experience: At least 2 years of experience in spacecraft design and systems engineering. Technical Expertise: Familiarity with CAD tools, preferably SolidWorks. Proficiency in programming languages like MATLAB, Python, or similar. Experience applying systems engineering methods in a spacecraft context. Soft Skills: Proven ability to work in multidisciplinary teams. Demonstrated flexibility in handling evolving project constraints. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Desired Skills and Experience Familiarity with spacecraft design standards and quality management systems. Knowledge of lightweight engineering principles and manufacturing processes. Ability to balance performance, resource use, risk, cost, and schedule effectively. Understanding of systems engineering tools in spacecraft design.
