Job Summary
The Research Scientist Assistant I you will work independently and with other members of the research team to complete a variety of ongoing research projects. We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join Dr. Rhonda Prisby’s laboratory to manage the lab, research studies, and the day-to-day laboratory tasks.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Assist with and perform experimental data collection. Perform data analysis. Learn techniques related to the lab. Animal handling and related surgeries Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the lab. Order lab supplies. Train other lab personnel on laboratory procedures and techniques.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Exercise Science, or a related science field, or the equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Background in vascular physiology and/or bone biology. Prior lab management experience.
Work Schedule
Monday-Friday; 8:00am-5:00pm. May require unconventional working hours.
