We are looking for a Senior Test Engineer who will support both System Test and Integration Test environments.
About the role
- Master Test Plans: Create and lead master test plans, test cases, and test schedules.
- Test Execution: Execute test cases and scenarios across individual development projects within the System Test environment, including functionality, user interface, regression, security, and user acceptance tests.
- Documentation: Document test scripts and test plans tied back to requirements.
- Defect Management: Identify and track defects, issues, risks, and action items. Create defect reports for problems discovered during system tests.
- Validation: Validate requirements for system testing, report preparation, defect recording, and defect tracking.
- Regression Testing: Perform regression testing to validate the resolution of any software or system defects.
- Program Schedules: Provide input for program schedules and develop Use Cases.
- Test Plan Development: Develop test plans, test cases, and project schedules.
- Test Execution: Execute test cases and scenarios across numerous project platforms in the Integration test environment, including functionality, user interface, regression, connectivity, performance, load, stress, user acceptance, failover/recovery, and supportability tests.
- Documentation: Develop and update integration test plans and procedures.
- Validation: Validate requirements for integration testing.
- Defect Management: Prepare reports, record defects, and track them. Identify, record, report, and track defects.
- Development Lifecycle Support: Provide mentoring support to the project team throughout the Development Lifecycle, starting from the requirements development phase to ensure all requirements are both testable and verifiable, and continuing through system test.
- Implementation Methodologies: Support the implementation of new documented, standardized, repeatable testing processes.
May perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in software testing, including experience with both System and Integration testing.
- Experience with Selenium for automated web application testing, including developing tests in languages such as C# and Java.
- Familiarity with running tests on different browser combinations (Chrome, Firefox, IE).
- Proficiency in using Cucumber for behavior-driven development (BDD) style automated acceptance tests.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and mentoring abilities, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- ISTQB certification or equivalent is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent experience.

- Salary range: C2C $65 - $70 // W2 hourly $58 to $62
