The Hydrogen Isotope Science Group is seeking two highly motivated R&D Scientists to join our team investigating innovative hydrogen isotope separation techniques, tritium effects on materials, and prototype testing of technologies. Responsibilities The ideal candidates will have a strong background on fundamentals of gas separation processes, transport phenomena, and experimental design.  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Works safely with particular attention to quality. Complies with all policies and standards. Maintain appropriate level government security clearance. Strong experimental and analytical skills. Strong foundation in transport phenomena, thermodynamics, and chemistry. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: BS/MS in Chemical/Mechanical engineering + 0-1 years of experience in Research & Development. Experience with process design, simulation, and optimization tools. Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance for which U.S. Citizenship is legally required.  Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Aspen Plus is highly desirable. Security Clearance Information This position will require selected candidate to be able to obtain a DOE Security Clearance. BSRA is required by DOE to conduct a pre-employment drug test and background review that includes checks of personal references, credit, criminal records, and employment history, and education verifications.
