This position will be responsible for data mining, report development, and financial analysis used to service the company’s mortgage and condo portfolios. This role requires a mix of recurring reports, ad-hoc requests and projects, and an expectation to lead development of new reports. Previous knowledge of forecasting and trend analysis is preferred for this role as maintaining and creating forecasts is desired. A candidate must demonstrate self-management skills and be detail oriented. They must be a strong problem solver with strong collaboration skills and be able to learn quickly and perform at a fast pace. Candidate must be comfortable with querying and analyzing data.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Responsible for the development and maintenance of the department’s monthly reporting packages that support the collections operation of the company’s HOA portfolio. Collect, analyze, and interpret data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities to suggest solutions to management.
  • Ownership of one or more monthly billing processes related to our condo portfolio, as well as ownership of key pieces in the company’s annual billing project.
  • Create monthly goals and forecasts for the department’s operations. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational performance and identify areas needing attention.
  • Develop and update presentations related to collection activity for each HOA board.
  • Create ad-hoc analysis as requested by management.
  • Build and maintain strong professional relationships with all business partners.

 

 REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related business field.
  • 3+ years of financial analysis or operational analysis
  • Intermediate knowledge of financial analysis, modeling, data mining, and reporting
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to identify issues and offer solutions.
  • Capacity to work effectively and efficiently on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel / PowerPoint, PowerBI, or other SQL based reporting tools is highly desired.
