Marketing Automation Engineer
Hybrid Position – Dallas, TX
~The Role
Pourri, the innovative creator of Poo-Pourri and sustainable lifestyle products, is seeking a Marketing Automation Engineer to revolutionize our digital advertising and e-commerce presence. This role will lead the development of AI-driven advertising systems across our DTC, Amazon, and retail support channels, helping scale our $130M+ business through automated marketing solutions.
~ The Responsibilities
E-commerce & Marketplace Automation (40%)
- Lead automation of Amazon Advertising campaigns across our product portfolio.
- Develop AI-powered systems for creative optimization across platforms.
- Create automated pricing and promotion strategies for DTC and marketplace channels.
- Build integration systems between Shopify Plus, Amazon, and retail partner platforms.
Digital Marketing Automation (30%)
- Implement automated ad buying systems across Meta, Google, and TikTok.
- Develop AI prompt engineering systems for creative content generation.
- Create cross-channel attribution and optimization models.
- Manage automated email and SMS marketing programs.
Data Analytics & Optimization (20%)
- Build predictive models for inventory and ad spend optimization.
- Develop automated reporting systems for the executive team.
- Create real-time dashboards for cross-channel performance.
- Implement A/B testing frameworks for product launches.
Innovation & Strategy (10%)
- Research emerging automation technologies.
- Collaborate with the brand team on new product launch strategies.
- Develop scalable solutions for retail partner support.
- Create documentation and training materials for the marketing team.
~ What You Bring
- 4+ years experience in e-commerce or CPG marketing technology.
- 2+ years experience with automated advertising systems.
- Proven track record in DTC or CPG brands.
- Experience with Amazon Advertising and Shopify Plus.
- Strong programming skills in Python, JavaScript (React), and API integration.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, including NetSuite development, SuiteScript, and REST/SOAP APIs.
- Expertise in Amazon Advertising API, Shopify Plus, and Meta Ads API.
- Knowledge of analytics tools such as Google Analytics 4, BigQuery, and Data Studio.
- Experience with AI/ML tools, prompt engineering, and creative automation.

- Base Salary: $105,000 - $145,000 annually (Dallas market rate).
- Performance Bonus: Up to 20%.
