Primary responsibilities:
• Creating project documentation (e.g., project charter, detailed project plan, risk/issues log, etc.)
• Participating in meeting planning - understanding individual concerns and goals through proactive meeting facilitation
• Compiling meeting agendas and minutes
• Developing and building relationships with IT partners and business clients
• Managing communications, and driving integration and collaboration across stakeholders
• Gathering business requirements, and delivering accurate and timely data, metrics and reports
• Proactively monitoring and tracking risks, issues and action items to ensure accountability, follow through and resolution as per prescribed commitments
Qualifications:
• A Bachelors’ degree – BS/BA
• Five years required, ten years desired of related experience successfully managing complex projects through the full project lifecycle, from conception through rollout
• Previous experience in managing IT projects is preferred
• Strong meeting organization and facilitation skills
• Ability to communicate (verbally and in writing) complex information to a varied audience, and balance needs of multiple stakeholders
• Very strong relationship management and partnering skills
• Experience and ease in interfacing with senior management
• Track record of managing work to achieve milestones on time and within budget in a high-pressure environment
• Experience in a financial services organization required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Project, PowerPoint, Word and Excel, experience in SharePoint a plus)
• PMP certification desirable
